1. The promoter

1.2 The promotion is administered on the Promoter's behalf by The Alternative.
1.3 By entering, you accept these terms and conditions in full.
2. Who can enter
2.1 The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over at the date of entry.
2.2 The following cannot enter: employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoter, The Alternative, BAM Karaoke Box, and anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.
2.3 Proof of age, identity and UK residency may be requested before the prize is awarded.
3. How to enter
3.1 The promotion opens at 12:00 on Friday 4 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 on Friday 16 October 2026. Entries received outside that window will not be counted.
3.2 To enter:
follow @wearegelarto on Instagram; and
complete the entry form in full, reached by scanning the QR code at the GelaRto stand or through the link in the @wearegelarto Instagram bio.
3.3 Bonus entry. Tagging two friends in a comment on the pinned post on @wearegelarto earns one additional entry, giving a maximum of two entries per person. To be counted, the comment must be posted before the closing date and the Instagram handle given on the entry form must match the account that comments. Tagging friends is optional and is not required to enter. People who are tagged are not entered into the promotion.
3.4 Entry is free. No purchase is necessary, and buying or sampling a product does not improve your chance of winning.
3.5 Maximum two entries per person. Duplicate entries beyond this, entries made by automated means, and entries that are incomplete or illegible will be disqualified.
3.6 We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received for reasons outside our reasonable control, including network or device failure.
3.7 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. Entrants release Instagram and Meta from any responsibility in connection with it.
4. The prize
4.1 One prize is available: return flights and three nights' hotel accommodation in Turin, Italy, for two people, booked by the Promoter, up to a total value of [[4]].
4.2 Departure airport, airline, hotel and travel dates will be agreed between the Promoter and the winner, and are subject to availability at the time of booking.
4.3 Everything not expressly included in clause 4.1 is the winner's responsibility, including travel to and from the departure airport, airport transfers, meals, baggage charges, spending money, and any personal expenses.
4.4 Travel must be taken and completed by 31 October 2027. The following periods are excluded: 18 December to 4 January, the Easter weekend, and UK school summer holidays.
4.5 The winner and their guest must each hold a valid passport with the validity required for travel to Italy, and must arrange any visas or entry permissions needed. Arranging appropriate travel insurance is the winner's responsibility and we strongly recommend doing so before travel is booked.
4.6 The guest must also be aged 18 or over. If the guest is under 18, they must be the winner's child and travel with the winner as their parent or guardian.
4.7 There is no cash alternative. The prize is not transferable and may not be sold or exchanged. It cannot be combined with any other offer.
4.8 If any element of the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute an alternative of equal or greater value.
4.9 Any tax liability arising from the prize is the winner's responsibility.
5. Choosing and contacting the winner
5.1 One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries on Wednesday 21 October 2026, using a random number generator, verified by a second member of the administering team.
5.2 The winner will be contacted within five working days of the draw, using the contact details given on their entry form.
5.3 The winner must respond within 14 days of first contact. If they do not respond, decline the prize, or cannot meet these terms, we reserve the right to redraw and select an alternative winner.
5.4 The winner's first name and county will be published on @wearegelarto. If you would rather this did not happen, tell us at the point of entry or email [[5]], and we will agree an alternative.
5.5 To find out the winner's first name and county, email [[5]] within six weeks of the closing date.
5.6 The winner may be asked to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the promotion. Taking part is not a condition of receiving the prize.
